Observed behavior

Observed by @radinamatic while verifying #4643: "I was also able to accept the invitation and open the channel, but the invitation remained sticky on the top of My channels page even after clicking the ✔️ button several times, navigating away and back, and even after signing out and in again... I eventually had to decline the invitation (that I previously accepted!), in order to make it go away finally

Expected behavior

The message should disappear once the user has accepted or declined it

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Go to https://unstable.studio.learningequality.org/en/accounts/#/ and sign in as user A
  2. Open a channel and select the 'Share channel' option
  3. Share the channel with user B by either selecting the 'Can view' or 'Can edit' option
  4. Sign in as user B and accept the invitation
  5. Refresh the 'My channels' page and observe that the invitation message has reappeared
