Does the installer log me out?? #27

I tried installing this and I got the weird windows logout sound and my taskbar disappeared and I panicked. I have a lot of software running that must not at any cost be interrupted. What do I do?

Nevermind, figured it out. Just started again and waited for it to finish. Must be a Windows glitch that it plays the logout sound.

When doing an upgrade, we use an official Windows API called RestartManager (rstrtmgr.dll) that takes care of restarting only explorer.exe to be able to upgrade the registered taskbar-monitor DLL files. It is expected that your taskbar will disappear for a few seconds, it is the official way.
But if it is a clean install (first time), it should appear on the taskbar list without much trouble and without the taskbar disappearing.
