For those of you moving to HomeKit, I’d recommend looking into the Controller for HomeKit app to dive deep into the capabilities of scenes and automations. It can’t do some things specific to Apple’s Home app, like turning scenes off and adding specific accessories to automations, but it’s extremely powerful. Lets you view and manipulate every attribute of your accessories. And it lets you duplicate scenes and automations, which is a huge timesaver.
