What is the reason to use https://github.com/kshoji/USB-MIDI-Driver instead of android.media.midi ?

What are advatage ? Is ti compatible with more devices ? Is there some issue in android.media.midi that this is solving ?

Are there some resons to use this if you target recent android version 24+ or 26+ ?

This would be greatly helpfull for many people I believe.
