how to plot a high resolution map? for eample, lon*lat 3600*2400

I have high resolution sea surface temperature data, but I don't draw the global distribution quite right. I tried to draw a picture with the adjust_pop_grid, but it didn't work. I knew that was my problem: I hadn't done the longitude right. I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to handle it correctly.
