Cards disappear in safari on first load

Loving the theme. Starting to build and modify it a bit for my site (https://mattwelch.io). One thing I've noticed, on my site and on yours, is that on first load in Safari, all the cards on the posts home page disappear after flashing visible for a split second.

If I go to another Safari tab and then back, they reappear. It sounds kind of like this issue but not only in private browsing mode.

Note that I've removed the .fade-in style from my cards until I can get this sorted.

Can you try this https://github.com/kelyvin/caffeine-theme#disable-cover. If it is happening on your home page then this is the probable reason. If you don't need it, then disable and try again. Hope it helps

Sorry to hear about this issue and thanks for reporting it! I will look into it when I get the chance, but for now your temporary fix will do the trick.
