I know its probably related to issue 69 or 96 but even after using those two as a reference the application will not STAY open for me. I can download and open the application but after a minute or two even if it is not scanning the application will close on its own without any sort of error message. My assumption is that it is getting flagged by antivirus somewhere but I have it whitelisted on all my anti virus software. Yes this is happening on windows 11, no this did not happen before especially when I was on windows 10.

Interesting. The app crashing when idle does sound like something is force closing it. Have you tried enabling Windows Defender as the only anti-virus (no third-party)? You don't have to test it if that's too risky for you.
If it is not an anti-virus issue, my current best guess is that there is a non-threadsafe operation happening when the GUI is idle (but this shouldn't be the case—nothing happens in the background unless user interacts with the button). There's also the possibility of something becoming incompatible in Windows 11 compared to Windows 10, but I can't test for myself until I upgrade to Windows 11 eventually.
