Templates with actionable notifications

Hey there,

Just wondering, is there a reason why Alexa actionable notifications don't appear to read scripts? I have a template that says "morning, afternoon evening etc based upon time of day but when I enter the template for it, it reads the template out how I've written it rather than the result of the template.

Is this just not possible or do you have to write it differently than a standard state template?

Apologies if this is the wrong section, I just didn't want to put it as a bug when Its probably not.
