So I see that you have to keep pattern for schema registry like -key and -value leaded by 'topicName'. But if you don't have this pattern you can't specify schema name perl topic. I though there will be dropdown where you can find a schema a read or produce to topic.
Or prob add a feature where you can add into config "topics:" array where you can provide schemaName: '' to use specific schema
