Realtek Audio Driver: Install instructions

  1. Open Device Manager as Admin >> Sound, video and game controllers
  2. Right click "High Definition Audio" and click update driver
  3. Click "Browse my computer for drivers"
  4. Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"
  5. Click "Have Disk"
  6. Click "Browse"
  7. Select the directory where the extracted files are
  8. Select OEM26.inf
  9. Select okay and Install.
  10. The drivers will install and the Audio interface name should change to "Realtek High Definition Audio"
  11. Your sound should now be working.
