Seems like that's the case,
But there are a view forks that seems to be kinda maintained.

Someone could make a Github organization with a fork of this project and a number of maintainers that want to help to get this project up and running again.

@mjarkk sounds like a good idea, maybe it would even be interesting to put the gocui based programs in that organization.

I'm thinking of creating an organization with some awesome go projects that are sadly not maintained because there are more libraries like this where the developer stopped using github.
Or create an origination just for gocui with things related to gocui.
