Determine diagnostic source

Working my way migrating from efm-language-server to null-ls. I noticed it can be difficult to determine the source of the error uisng null-ls. The screenshot below is taken from when i was using efm-language-server, it tells me this diagnostic message is from prettier. is there some way to also get the diagnostic source to appear using null-ls

ty, just a follow up question:

1. is there some way to determine which diagnostic message gets displayed.

For example. You can see it displays "Missing semicolon" as appose to "Insert ;". How is it choosing what to display.

2. I notice for null-ls diagnostics there is no squiggly line ( if you look at tsserver errors or the vscode below you can see at the end of the line there is a red squiggly. Is that something which can be enabled.

The messages are coming from ESLint, so if you want to change them, you'll need to update your ESLint configuration. In this case it looks like it's reporting two separate issues, one from the prettier ruleset and then one from the semi rule.

As for the line, that's controlled by your theme. I don't know about squiggly lines specifically, but I use Sonokai, which shows a line under diagnostics.

Ok im aware its from Eslint and one is the prettier ruleset and the other semi rule. I was more asking how does it decide out of the 2, which what it is going to display. In the above example it shows "Missing semicolon" (which is the last of the 2 rules it found).

I also use Sonokai, in other cases it shows the line under diagnostics but in this usecase above, there is no line.
