Monterey shutdown problem #123
Comments
I was able to upgrade to Ventura, but the shutdown and hibernation problem continues. Did anyone manage to solve it? |
Unfortunately no, the only way to turn it off is to reboot and turn it off from the bootloader. |
I mapped the USB ports excluding all unnecessary ones, and even so, the complete shutdown does not occur. |
I also tried to map the usb ports correctly, trying both with software like hackintosh and following the previous comments on the shutdown problem. I also tried to implement correctly the mapping offered by @johnnynunez , but still the shutdown doesn't happen. I also unlocked the bios, but didn't get any fix for the shutdown issue |
HI,
I installed hackintosh system on Monterey for xiaomi air 13.3 2016 on a second SSD.
I installed the kext and all the information on git, but even after unlocking the bios with all the parameters I still have the notebook "Not completely shutdown" faults.
I read in previous issues that the problem was with the USB ports.
I would like to know if it is necessary to replace the USB folder present on the git, with the kext in the EFI folder to make the shutdown work.
For the rest the system is very stable, you should replace the bluetooth kexts for Monterey and you need to change the wifi kexts by inserting those for wifi 2.1.0
