I've got a Gree air conditioner manufactured by the end of 2016. The "brand" field in the json object it sends back as scan response is blank, which triggers the initialization failure. Perhaps we could modify the code in GreeDeviceFinder that enforces brand to be "gree" so that more models will be compatible.
