  • Yes, it is working in android-studio using gradle.

  • What error are you seeing?

When gradle is run on jitpack.io for an android-library it seems that the task :generatePomFileForMavenPublishPublication fails in the plugin gradle-maven-plugin.

A quick investigation revealed this to be an open issue for the gradle-maven-plugin.
