I think this is an amazing idea! I don't have time to work on it at the moment, but I'll put it on my queue of things to do 😄.

If anyone wants to submit a PR before that, I would be happy to accept it!

One thing to note though, is that currently alda does not have any idea of an 'output format', so an org babel plugin for alda would probably be purely to play alda music blocks in org mode.

One more thing, ox-alda should probably be a separate package (and have development take place in a separate repository), but I'm happy to use this issue to track it since it makes the most sense. I'm very interested in creating this, but it might be some time before I can work on it, unfortunately...
