Vertical list layout of Live TV channels

The current layout of big thumbnails scrolling horizontally really doesn't work that well when you have >100 channels and are looking for a specific channel. Adding the option of a vertical list with just the channel number, name, and simple EPG information, allowing to show more than 10 channels at a time would make going through it much easier and faster. It would also bring it in line with other dedicated TV players/apps.

Isn't this what the existing tv guide view is?

That's the only view I use for live TV because I agree, the default layout is not useable unless you have a tiny number of channels and only care about what's on right now and not what's up next in the guide.
