Checklist

  • This problem exists even with the setting "C_Cpp.enhancedColorization": "Disabled"

The code with a problem is:

inline /* comments */ void __cdecl d() {}
[[noreturn]] void __cdecl e() {}
[[noreturn]] inline void __cdecl f() {}
[[noreturn]] static void __cdecl g() {}
[[noreturn]] inline void __cdecl h() {}
[[noreturn]] constexpr void __cdecl i() {}
[[noreturn]] /* comments too */ void __cdecl j() {}

It looks like:

The theme is Default Dark Modern.

The textmate for /**/ comments following attributes is incorrect;
The textmate for call conventions will also be incorrect when both attributes and specifiers.

It should look like:

Each textmate should be consistent with the first line.
