I am not sure what Jest support for ESM is these days. But this package doesn't do anything non standard. Have you looked at vitest? It is mostly a drop in replacement and has no issues with ESM. |

ts-jest has nearly 3x the weekly downloads as vitest and you are choosing to completely drop support? |

Why aren't those tools supporting standards? I work on this project in my personal time and supporting CJS is not fun nor at this point do I think it helps the community. If you want to patch those tools, go ahead. If you discover the issue is in your config and you think this project is an appropriate place to document something about ESM, PR welcome to look that over. I've opened a poll about this topic and if the signal is strong enough I'll reconsider for this package. At this time, there's only a handful of votes. |
