Finding new (prerelease) documentation

There have been some interesting discussion topics regarding documentation. Some of them mention new documentation in progress. Where can I find those work-in-progress. I have some time for testing (and perhaps improving) some docs.

I am beginning a mini project to take a fresh look at simplifying and standardizing a client for a music teacher. I'd be interested in reviewing and testing any ongoing work on this topic.

I'll be delayed for a while. Following the trail from more error messages.... ruby won't install without some other commands.... I have to install Fink which makes more commands compatible with macOS (e.g. apt-get). Fink does not yet support Big Sur.

I don’t think there’s a need for fink? You should be able to install everything with brew which is the apt-get equivalent for macOS.

I finally had some time to try brew. I have some error messages and no clue what it wants me to do.

Out of boredom and desperation, I ran brew twice more. Each time I get a different result, although it ends with the same seeor messages. What needs to be fixed?

Probably ruby-devel doesn’t exist for macOS.

I recently did this PR suggesting re-arranging the docs to introduce a "Server Admin Manual" as a counterpart to the User (formerly "software") Manual jamulussoftware/jamuluswebsite#527 and to make things generally a bit easier to maintain I hope.
