Doesn't run without sudo!

I've tried your code and it does not work unless run under sudo, that's with the udev rule you suggest. Any suggestions as to what needs to be changed to run without sudo?

Can you put your usb device in and run lsusb in the command window and paste the output? I wonder if the udev rule isn't working with your hardware.
