Example wizard should use Git-agnostic examples directory #815

If you download the examples repository as a ZIP file from Github, any Git-related information is missing in the ZIP archive. The example wizard should nevertheless be able to work with the unzipped directory, be there Git data or not.

Still doesn't work. The wizard doesn't recognize the examples directory.
