Purpose: Provide essential references for teaching methods and didactics applicable to software architecture training.

How to get started:

  1. Review your own training materials/books
  2. Consider books you've found helpful in your training practice

Tasks:
a) Core didactic references (1 hour):

  • Adult learning theory (like Bowman, Knowles)
  • Professional/technical training
  • Active learning methods

b) Architecture teaching references (1 hour):

  • Books/articles about teaching design concepts
  • Resources about architectural thinking
  • Case study collections useful for teaching

Definition of Done:

  • Each reference includes:
    • Full citation
    • Brief (2-3 sentences) explanation of relevance
    • (Which specific LGs it supports if applicable)
  • At least one reference available for each LG in LU03
  • Mix of theoretical and practical resources
  • Preference for currently available books/resources
  • Balance between didactic and technical content

Suggested time-box: 2-3 hours per category (4-6 hours total)
