Alternate orientation has less support volume compared to the tweaked orientation

When I have tried optimizing the orientation using the STL tweak, I got orientation like in the picture below (fig 1), but for the given object there is much more optimal orientation is available given in Figure 2. Please suggest which function to modify to achieve the orientation given in Figure 2.
