As CAST5 is a 64bit block length cipher it really should be avoided. I guess the only reason it is given here is for interoperability (as it is a RFC4880 SHOULD cipher togeter with 3DES MUST ans AES128 SHOULD). Using CAMELLIA as a blessed cipher would make the US-critics happy I guess.
Hi,
I have a question about following line in the gpg.conf:
personal-cipher-preferences AES256 AES192 AES CAST5
Why not also add the Twofish cipher?
