Description

Currently we use 3.3, but we could probably use 3.9+.

Perhaps @kesara could outline the possibility of this? I believe the version was downgraded in the first place due to IETF IT limitations.

Yes, it was downgraded because of the docker engine & docker-compose version limitation in the server which runs openSUSE Leap.

This is, for the near term, an operational constraint we aren't going to change. There is an ongoing conversation about what our IT infrastructure will look like in the future. Until it does change, this issue needs to be put in a 'waiting' state.
