Is there any way to prevent ydotool from activating shortcuts?

if i accidentally hold win/alt/ctrl during a ydotool output, it activates any keyboard shortcuts along the way, I was thinking, is there a way to exclude a keyboard from accessing shortcuts on hyprland? I don't see anything, but perhaps i'm missing something.

^^ seems like it would be a great solution, i've checked the wiki a bunch so i'm making this a feature request
