This should be done along with providing more detailed setup instructions.

Hi @jstaf thanks very much for this repo, I am a instructor for the carpentries as well. I use Snakemake a lot, and forked the repo, I will see what can I do for some PRs!

Another note - Jupyterlab doesn't work by default on Windows, so it has to be Jupyter Notebooks specifically.
