the oracular repo just pushed gnome 47-beta updates which ruined a few weekends because it broke extensions. i'm curious if there's any way to package this as a .deb so that apt can't update gnome until "essential" extensions are updated or removed, etc? i've tried out a couple other solutions, but i'm curious.
