Despite of using Dash to Panel I also navigate a lot using the switch windows, applications and instances of an application shortcuts, and generally follow GNOME's workspace philosophy, where you have no more than 3, max 4 windows per workspace.
So because I navigate the way I do, it makes a lot more sense for the windows to be sorted by most recently used, so that I know how many times I need to activate the keyboard shortcut beforehand, instead of remembering.
I don't have anything pinned to the panel and instead use arch menu, where I have pinned the apps I use the most (or just search for them). The only apps I have that show on the panel are the ones I have opened like this:
So yeah I want the application I had opened last to be the first on the list, the second most recent the second etc. And every time I switch applications the order updates.
Is this something that's actually doable or not? I'm also assuming that you would need to have "Use favorite icons as launchers" option enabled in the ungroup apps submenu, in order for this option to become available, since idk if you can move pinned apps around.
