Hello, I can't properly add Defender to the exceptions, the notification keeps popping up.
I think it's because Simplewall only allows exact paths (no wildcards), whilst the program uses different numbers every time:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform\[DIFFNUMBER]\mpcmdrun.exe
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform\[DIFFNUMBER]\mpdefendercoreservice.exe
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform\[DIFFNUMBER]\msmpeng.exe

(and the same happens for any program which does the same)

What can I do about this?

App version: Simplewall 3.8.4
Windows version: Windows10

that's exactly the same reason why I am here: same with backgrounddownload.exe.
