MacBookPro11,1 - No Controller Found #22

Installed Tails to an 8GB SD card. Install went ok, but after the bootloader selection I'm hitting this error of No Controller Found and something about platform microcode: firmware: agent aborted loading intel-ucode/06-45-01 (not found?) and then more error afterward.
