Looking for help with (loads of) errors = Please Verify Local Data! Piece #891 is corrupt. (3).

Hi All,

Looking for help with a problem I am having since installing the newest version of Transmission image on my Synology some months ago.

Since then I am getting loads of following errors:

Error string: | Please Verify Local Data! Piece #891 is corrupt. (3)

When file is paused and started again and paused again the error clears without any action being taken judging by the normal time it takes to pause and start that torrent. When I realized it happens some months ago I googled it and found some suggestions to just stop and restart torrent to clear the errors. However I now know that all files downloaded that way are in fact corrupted.

At this stage I am ruling out my HDDs as it was all perfect up to that moment using older docker image and it suddenly started when I updated to back than newest DSM soft for my Synology NAS, which forced me to also update Transmission (to build it from scratch although using the same options).

Am in process of testing of various possibilities but so far everything points to Transmission corrupting the files which are marked with errors (or my HDDs but that would be totally unexpected as described above).
