How do I use Synology Reverse Proxy with RPC?

I installed Transmission-OpenVPN on my Synology using:

      - TRANSMISSION_RPC_PASSWORD=**********

      - /volume1/Media:/media

I then set up a reverse proxy on my Synology mapping 443 to 9091.

I can access the web GUI of Transmission by going to https://torrents.**********.synology.me/
All this is working great and without any issues.

However, if I try to connect to Transmission using Remote GUI and the RPC, I get errors.

Specifically: error:1407742E:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert protocol version

What do I need to do to fix this?
