How do I skip specific file from being downloaded?

hi,
when I select some of the files as priority "Don't download" for a given torrent, they still get downloaded.
I want to skip all the *.txt files when I download stuff.

Better ask this over at the transmission repo.. but that’s the nature of torrents, small files will often fill up due to packages etc filling
