Control of spaces & tabs for code examples

I really can't find this information anywhere, but is there any way to control spaces & tabs, and its settings for the source code slides?

PS. By default it creates 4 spaces, ideally, I'd limit it to 2, or 1 tab with 2 spaces length.

and the slide source code, despite the fact it's there 2 spaces, it ignores it.
