transition not very smooth?

I have noticed that sometimes the default transition between slides is not super smooth.
Something seemed weird but I could not distinguish exactly what or why I got that impression.

So I recorded the transition of a presentation and watched in slow motion.

I can see that the color change is quite abrupt (in this case from green to white in one step, i.e. a few milliseconds). You can see the result (extracted video frames and details) in the PDF I am attaching below.

In this PDF you can see what I mean, plus details to hopefully replicate it.

Is this something related to hardware, configuration, or just the way it is?
