Embed external markdown from markdown file

Hi all,

is it possible to embed another markdown file inside a markdown file?

What I want to accomplish is like this but not from a reveal html file, but from an already embedded markdown file:

my-presentation.html

<!-- this works 👍 -->
<section data-markdown="slides/a.md"></section>

a.md

# ToC

- a
- b
- c

---

...is it somehow possible to include b.md here?...
