Printing to pdf, text/image overflow

Hi there. I love revealjs! Great stuff. I have a question. I'd like to distribute my presentations in PDF BUT I have been having lots of text and image overflow issues when I print landscape(letter).
I followed the instructions here: https://revealjs.com/pdf-export/ but I use MS Edge(which is basically Chrome).

On screen there is no overflow issues but when I see it printed to pdf, there's overflow on some slides that cascades over to all the all following slides in pdf

I've made width/height ratios the same as an 8.5/11" letter paper:
width: 1294
height: 1000

What's the most elegant solutions to do what I'd like to do as I could fiddle around to solve my problem but it's very time consuming.
