Rotating and moving an entity

Is there an easy way to rotate an entity and move it towards the rotated direction? I tried to exend the MovementController but got stuck pretty quickly.

pma8444 You can just use the ~~~~PhysicsEngine to do that for you. An example would be:
~~```java~~Game.physics().move(myEntity, Direction.DOWN.toAngle(), myEntity.getTickVelocity())```` In order to make this work, you need to set ~~~~IMobileEntity.setTurnOnMove(true)` in case you've overwritten the default value somewhere.

steffen Sorry, I should have made clear that I want to rotate the sprite as well, similar to the tank in this classic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8G4ngPXGGgw
But you pointed me to the right direction, I looked into the PhysicsEngine and now did this in my EntityController

Rotation of the sprite works fine with this, but around every 90 degrees, the movement is incorrect. For example, without turning at the beginning, pressing S will move the sprite to the top-left instead of just to the left.
Note: handleMovement() is not overridden and setTurnOnMove() is set to false.
Highly appreciate it, if you could have a look and give me another hint.

Ok it works now. This is my MovementController, in case anyone wants to do something similar or sees potential for optimization:
