Course Title: Codebreakers Academy: Crafting Cybersecurity Wizards

Course Duration: 3 months (12 weeks)

Class Frequency: 2 hours per week

Week 5-6: Operating System Security

    • Windows Security Features and Best Practices
    • Linux Security Features and Best Practices
    • Introduction to Malware and Antivirus Solutions
  • Week 6:

    • Patch Management and Software Updates
    • User Authentication and Access Control
    • Security Configuration and Baseline Standards

Week 7-8: Web Application Security

  • Week 7:

    • Common Web Application Vulnerabilities (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF)
    • Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
    • Secure Coding Practices and OWASP Top 10
  • Week 8:

    • API Security and Best Practices
    • Security Headers and Content Security Policy
    • Web Application Penetration Testing Fundamentals

Week 9-10: Cybersecurity Operations

  • Regular attendance and active participation in discussions and labs are essential.
  • Students are encouraged to explore additional resources and participate in Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges and cybersecurity competitions to enhance their practical skills.
