In case of a desktop environment, you can install the display manager of your choice.
archboot already support:
Default Display Manager:
GDM........: Gnome / Budgie / Cinnamon / Mate
LIGHTDM....: Deepin / Enlightenment
SDDM.......: KDE
LXDM.......: Xfce4 / Lxde / Lxqt
