I got a problem when I use more than 50000 images for validation set to calculate the optimal temperature. Is there any way to bypass this problem?

What step is running out of memory? This should be a solvable problem.
Also, you probably don't need that many validation set images for temperature scaling. A few hundred should suffice (you are only learning a single parameter).
