[Solved] "found already initialized store"

I have an already initialized store that I would like to add to gopass, after reinstalling my WSL environment.

However, when I do gopass init --path ~/passwordstore/root --store pws, it says

gopass init --path ~/passwordstore/root --store pws

❌ Store is already initialized!

Error: Failed to initialize store: failed to init store "vgiscience" at "~/passwordstore/root": failed to initialize new sub store: found already initialized store at "~/passwordstore/root".
You can add secondary stores with 'gopass init --path <path to secondary store> --store <mount name>'

• the recommendation is what I did. How can I open this existing, already initialized passwordstore? It is not shown when I do gopass ls.

I found out:

gopass mounts add vgiscience .

The folder was not mounted!
