In September 2022, the Global.health team completed a 100 days mission to provide decision makers, researchers, and the public with timely and accurate, openly-accessible, global line-list data for the 2022 mpox outbreak. After 100 days, we transitioned from providing manually-curated line-list data to openly-available data resources, compiling downloadable Mpox datasets with aggregate case data from the WHO, U.S. CDC, and ECDC. Our team has re-activated our response to support current events in Africa and declaration of the mpox PHEIC for the second time in two years.
This 2024 dataset (data starting 2024-01-01) will be maintained separately from our 2022 dataset.
Our team is currently evaluating the workload to ingest a backlog of data for 2023.
