Control of container/row width

I love this theme; I've been using it for everything I work on. I've managed to modify a few small aspects of it for my needs, but am struggling with how to expand the width of the container/row as it appears on page from the default (which looks like 1170px or so). Is there a simple way I can control the width for content?
