The new MS Teams is now forced for all users and this extension can not be added or at least not in the way described in this documentation.
Yet in the same time another issue points here instead of being resolved: getsentry/sentry#55752

Suggested Solution

Suggest how people forced to use the new MS Teams can use this. I think at this point everyone is forced to use the new Teams so no one can use the documented integration.
