please see this post:

I installed this program, and it renamed my home directory to 'hostsblock'. Anyhow, long story short, I ended up losing a bunch of files whilst uninstalling and getting things back to normal—config files and scripts that took hours and hours to make.

(this is not me)

i am not yet 100% sure that the install.sh script caused it, but it's a fair guess.

i am not yet 100% sure that the install.sh script caused it, but it's a fair guess.

the person who posted this confirmed that install.sh was the culprit.

this happened on debian.

they said they were using the master zip file, and posted about their failure originally on 24th of august, so this must have been well after install.sh was supposedly fixed (issue #87)?

please investigate, i'm sure bedtime is willing to contribute some data to this.
