Strange compiler message: '.../splash-00001.png', needed by '.../qrc_resources.cpp' , missing and no known rule to make it

Hi, I'm compiling Friction. Everything has been going alright until the last step, cmake --build . --parallel: I'm getting this single error message.

ninja: error: '~/Bureau/friction/src/app/icons/splash/splash-00001.png', needed by 'src/app/friction_autogen/EWIEGA46WW/qrc_resources.cpp', missing and no known rule to make it

I tried to search in Google but it didn't appear nowhere. Seems to be caused by this line in resources.qrc:

If you want to contribute to friction do you have to compile it yourself?

yes, as with all programs since you need to be able to test the changes you make. it seems scary but it's not that complicated :) it's tedious because the current guide isn't adapted to beginners (like me), but I'm working on that: friction!384

In unity you just hit play then it compiles

Hopefully it was that easy!! Unity does a lot things for you... It really should be that easy but it isn't.

Maybe we can create a .vscode configuration and a script for automatically getting the deps and compiling? This is what inkscape does

How long does it take to compile friction?

The first time it takes a while, then it's just a few seconds (cache).

Update the sub modules.

git submodule update -i --recursive
