How to code a 'goal-oriented' child interacting with an adult?

Can't tell whether this is actually a problem, but in the first one
listed above, they could be both adult focused whilst still being
goal-orientated (they were still filling in the screen together, whilst
talking to me) - maybe that doesn't matter, and it's the most salient one
that should be coded?
